Cosmetic Teeth Whitening

We are excited to introduce our Teeth Whitening services.

We use the latest and modern design of the Beyond II Whitening Accelerator that features a unique combination of 10 high-intensity blue LEDs.  It promotes superior shiny white results with a reduced treatment time compared to other systems. 

This provides amazing results for those people with extensive staining from coffee drinking and smoking.

Here Is How The Process Works

1. Client comes in and chooses a show on the available streaming programs.
2. We determine and record the pre-whitening shade using a shade guide and take records by taking photographs.
3. The cheek retractor is placed in the mouth to help keep the lips and cheeks away.
4. We dry the teeth and apply a Gingival Barrier to both the upper and lower teeth along the gum line to isolate and protect the gums and keep them clean.  We sometimes may place extra isolation using cotton rolls under the top and bottom lip and in the sulcus area.
5. We use a special curing light in a fanning motion for 10-20 seconds until the Gingival Barrier is set and hardened.
6. We apply the whitening gel onto the front 10 teeth, and spread it out evenly with a small brush
7. We attach and turn on the Aylba Whitening Light to optimise and activate the gel.
8. We leave the gel on for 20 minutes per application.
9. After the 20 minutes we remove the gel with gauze and cotton rolls.
10. We repeat steps 7-9 three to four times to assist reaching a desired result for teeth whitening.
11. After the last application,  the gel will be removed and mouth rinsed.
12. The last step is to place Teeth Whitening Remineralisation Desensitising gel on the teeth for about 10-15 minutes.  This will help with sensitivity that can occur after a teeth whitening treatment.
13. We take final photos and record the final shade.
14. Teeth are looking whiter, brighter and amazing!

What Results Can You Expect?

We get fantastic results from our products with results of 5 to 14 shades whiter able to be achieved on untreated teeth.  Results will be reduced if you use any home whitening products.  While most clients are thrilled with the results some have unrealistic expectations.  Teeth whitening will not produce paper white teeth like seen in the movies.  This is a result or having the surface of the teeth replaced with porcelain veneers.  Teeth whitening will remove stains from the surface of the teeth and return them to the colour they were originally grown.

Teeth whitening results are subjective as each individual is different and teeth will only whiten to the degree which they are stained.  Teeth with very little staining due to good diet or the use of home whitening treatments may not show as much of a result.  The whiter the persons teeth were originally the whiter the results that can be achieved.
